As an iPhone user whos totally blind, I truly appreciate what accessability support the Mixlr team did to make their app work with VoiceOver, Apples screen reader. However, there are some improvements that need to be made. For example, a lot of the buttons are not labeled, which means VoiceOver just says, "Button," rather than what it does. And Ive been told by a couple of friends of mine whore VoiceOver users that broadcasting is completely inaccessible. I contacted the developers about these issues, so, Im hoping they will get them fixed in the next version. But other than that, I definitely see this app having potential for the blind and visually impaired, since its an audio social network.

I use Mixlr to listen to my favorite podcast network, GOLiverse. They doing live shows on a regular basis, and its fun to be able to listen and chat with other listeners.
Love this app and some great channels for some of the live music I listen to. Since most of my Shoutcast channels have slowly disappeared, this becoming my go to app.
Just wish we could get casting added to it for Chromecast or available as a streaming app on fire TV, (Roku), or smart TVs.
I run my own radio broadcast here and I dont know what the deal is with the negative reviews but I know that everything installed and synced well. From the pc and my phone and Lappy. You cannot 1 star an app because you are too ding dong to figure out. Its easy and sliding though baby oil. It does not crash, I can update my picture. Streaming is awesome. The free version has slightly reduced quality but still sounds really good. I run vsthost through a mixer and back into mixlr using a studio quality mic, Tascam and heads. The is the perfect place to stream without dealing with ads and tons of restrictions. Ignore these comments, they have no idea how to uninstall a freakin app off of their phone!!
Its a really good app to start broadcasting our own audio content. Its pretty simple and user friendly. For basic users it gives one hour duration for each live program then you need to stop and restart if youre broadcasting constantly.
Some bad moments
I cannot block users and I cannot delete this account. The instructions and tutorials are useless. Think twice before signing up.
Why is that its impossible to delete this app from my phone??? I dont want it anymore and even after instructing it to be deleted, it just stays put. Fix it and get this garbage off my phone.
App doesnt work right.
"Following" filter keeps showing up blank.
Phone app cant keep up or keep a signal for local broadcasts of sporting events.
Why does it all of sudden for the past week, say it is off-air, when its not. Worked fine for the last 4 months, now it doesnt. Im going to g to delete this app.
How do you not fix this thing ? Tells me my Imam offline when hes not. Wont let me listen to the showreel.
